It’s BIG Up North
Following on from the success of last year’s BIG Forum North, Acumen were only too happy to play host to BIG’s second annual conference in the North this September.
Last year’s forum was hugely successful, attracting figures from across the industry that were keen to hear the views of a panel of speakers on a range of Business to Business research issues.
The Business Intelligence Group have long been supporters of the B2B research community. Founded in 2001 the group sought to help those in the niche sector of business and industrial research through small conferences and networking events, the goal being to enable people in this specialist sector to come together and discuss issues which are specifically relevant to them.
Since those humble beginnings, BIG has grown to become a firm fixture on the conference circuit with high attendance figures and wide respect throughout the industry for the insight and discussions their events offer. It was no surprise therefore that they would want to expand their network beyond the London dominated research industry with their BIG Forum North events.
This year’s event will be hosted once again by Acumen Fieldwork, taking place in their bespoke conference venue, The Pioneer Suite. Participants include members of BIG’s Millenial team, who recently gave a lively presentation in Birmingham on the role of social media. Similarly this year’s panel, chaired by Ray Poynter and introduced by Trevor Wilkinson, will also focus largely on the role of social media in the B2B world and it promises to be another memorable event.
