A recent study recruited by Acumen on behalf of the business consultancy Sheppard Moscow, has highlighted some interesting trends in new business management in the UK.
The results of the study, discussed in a recent article in The Sunday Telegraph, have shown that large organisations are moving away from the more traditional backgrounds of yesterday’s leaders. Where formal management training based around theoretical models was the preference in the past, today’s organisations are less reliant on this grounding, preferring more dynamic leaders who have a grasp of ever-changing markets.
It’s certainly an interesting and timely study, given the current climate of unpredictability in global markets.
