Acumen gets in on the Riot Act
While the riots that affected Manchester were on a far smaller scale than those in London and its outer regions, there was still a level of trepidation for the team at Acumen when they returned to their city centre offices the following day.

While many of the other premises around Acumen on Canal Street had not escaped the attention of the rioters, the building which is home to Acumen and its sister companies, Research opinions, The Pioneer Suite and Aspect Viewing Facilities, was fortunate enough to have been left alone.

Never ones to count their own blessings, the team quickly mobilised to join in the clean-up operation which had been gaining support through the use social media. Armed with brushes, dust-pans and large quantities of bin bags, the team headed out into the city centre to join the other volunteers that had found time to help with the clean-up

These past 12 months have seen the successful launch of Acumen’s own data-checking software, Acumonitor, designed to allow recruiters to screen and submit respondents through an online portal before it’s automatically checked for duplicate and fraudulent respondents.
