Job Title: Project Manager

Reporting to: Qual Lead

Date: February 2021

Salary: £22,000

Who are we?

Acumen Fieldwork is a fresh thinking, dynamic fieldwork agency specialising in organising qualitative, quantitative and healthcare market research fieldwork across the UK and internationally.

So, what’s the job?

Working within the Qualitative Fieldwork team, you will be responsible for the organisation of market research projects across the country, taking full ownership of your designated projects. This will include briefings from clients, writing screeners, booking venues, managing recruiters. We are also looking for people who can bring new ideas and ways of working. You will interact with all areas of the business, as well as suppliers and clients.

On a daily basis you will:

Manage projects from commission onwards including:

  • Producing a project schedule
  • Attend project briefings and Internal F2F project briefings
  • Producing a recruitment screener
  • Working closely with project recruiter to ensure accurate and efficient recruitment
  • Field out recruitment as required
  • Field out interviewing as required
  • Liaise with Data Team regarding scripting and data processing requirements
  • Confirm project invoicing requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound organisational skills with evidence of project management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changeable environment

Job Title: Recruitment Specialist

Salary: £20,000

Who are we?

Research Opinions are one of the largest suppliers of market research participants in the UK. Every year we manage the recruitment of participants for hundreds of projects across the country, from our offices based on Canal Street in Manchester.

So, what’s the job?

Working within our fieldwork team, you will be responsible for the telephone recruitment of participants for market research focus groups nationwide, taking full ownership of your designated projects. This will include briefings from clients, recruiting from our bespoke database or free-find with tight deadlines and strict specifications. We are also looking for people who can bring new ideas and ways of working. You will interact with all areas of the business.

On a daily basis you will:

  • Attend project briefing calls and Internal F2F project briefings
  • Liaise with Project Manager to create online surveys for screening participants
  • Correctly recruit participants for market research projects
  • Work with Project Manager to solve problems related to the recruitment of participants
  • Connect with participants via social media platforms to generate interest in projects
  • Keep project details updated on all participant engagement platforms i.e. website, Facebook, Instagram
  • Keep Project Manager updated with any issues and the number of participants recruited
  • Handle participant data in line with Data Protection rules
  • Work in line with the MRS Code of Conduct
  • Commit to adhering to the ISO 20252 Quality Management System

What we need from you:

  • Previous experience of a telephone-based role
  • Great interpersonal skills; client service orientated
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound organisational skills with evidence of project management

Job Title: Recruitment Specialist – Healthcare

Reporting to: Healthcare Lead

Date: April 2021

Salary: £20,000

Who are we?

So, what’s the job?

Working within the Healthcare team, you will be responsible for the organisation of market research projects across the country, taking full ownership of your designated projects. This will include briefings from clients, writing screeners, booking venues, managing recruiters. We are also looking for people who can bring new ideas and ways of working. You will interact with all areas of the business, as well as suppliers and clients.

On a daily basis you will:

  • Attend project briefing calls and internal F2F project briefings
  • Liaise with Project and Recruitment Manager to create online surveys for screening
    participants
  • Create lists and conduct desk research for free finding participants
  • Communicate session details with recruited participants and ensure relevant consents are in place prior to research
  • Correctly recruit participants for Healthcare research projects
  • Work with Project and Research Manager to solve problems related to recruitment
    of participants
  • Connect with participants via social media platforms to generate interest in projects
  • Keep project details updated on all participant engagement platforms i.e. website,
    Facebook, Instagram
  • Keep Project and Recruitment Manager updated with any issues and the number of
    participants recruited
  • Handle participant data in line with Data Protection rules
  • Work in line with the MRS Code of Conduct
  • Work in line with BHBIA guidelines
  • Commit to adhering to the ISO 20252 Quality Management System
